Ischia

“On this island, where the mountains rise from the sea, and the waves sing a lullaby to the stars, I find the serenity that life so rarely offers.”
Antonia Pozzi

Ischia is a small island off the coast of Naples in the Tyrrhenian Sea. A Mediterranean gem known for its volcanic origins, the island boasts a diverse landscape, from its small towns that dot the coastline up to the towering Mount Epomeo, pine forests, vineyards, and pristine beaches.
Its volcanic activity feeds numerous thermal springs, making it an ancient historic wellness destination which today has several renowned thermal parks

The island’s towns each offer unique charm. Ischia Porto is lively and cosmopolitan, while Ischia Ponte is home to the medieval Castello Aragonese. Forio is known for stunning sunsets and the Chiesa del Soccorso, and the peaceful, car-free village of Sant'Angelo is a serene retreat.

Ischia has been a crossroads of civilizations, blending Greek, Roman, and Norman influences. Ischia's cuisine highlights fresh seafood, local vegetables, and wines, with dishes like coniglio all'ischitana (ischian rabbit) being a local favorite.

Ischias mild climate, abundant nature, and relaxed pace of life make it a perfect destination for those seeking both adventure and relaxation. Whether you’re hiking up Mount Epomeo, soaking in thermal springs, exploring historic ruins, or simply enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets over the sea.

Please enjoy your stay at the villa, with our compliments.

The Villas

We have chosen two villas in the northwest end of the island on the cliffs overlooking San Francesco beach

  • Eremo di Montevergine

A former hermitage from the 16th century that is still connected to its original church
There are a combination of small private apartments and a large grand shared flat where we will host appertivo overlooking the sea some evenings.

  • Villa Zaro

Located on the corner of the Zaro viewpoint this villa has eight bedrooms, a large portico and a Mediterranean garden of exotic plants.
